Introduction

Tree Style Tab (without tracking) is a browser extension that organizes your tabs in a tree structure within a sidebar. Your privacy is our priority. This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal or browsing data.

Data Collected – None

We do not collect any information whatsoever:

No browsing data (URLs, history, searches)
No personal data (name, email, IP address)
No technical data (device identifiers, browser versions)
No usage statistics
No cookies
No trackers (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)

All processing is performed locally within your browser.

Use of Permissions

The extension requests certain permissions to function. They are used strictly for the following purposes:

Permission	Usage
`tabs`	Read and organize tabs in the tree
`storage`	Save your preferences (e.g., workspaces) locally
`bookmarks`	Access bookmarks for the "Bookmark and search" feature
`sidePanel`	Display the sidebar tab panel
`activeTab`	Identify the active tab for keyboard shortcuts
`scripting` (host permissions)	Execute necessary DOM queries on active tabs when capturing page info for workspaces and bookmark searches

None of this data is ever sent to an external server.

Workspaces and Bookmarks

Saved workspaces are stored solely in your browser's local storage (via chrome.storage.local).
The "Bookmark and search" feature accesses your bookmarks locally and does not transmit anything externally.

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any data, because there is no data to share.
